The UV Meter

We have two systems in place to monitor our tanning beds to be sure they are performing better than the manufacturer recommended time for changes.

The first system, which is dead accurate, is our computer. Each bed is monitored in terms of how many hours it's been used, and therefore, we have an accurate reading which tells us when we should change bulbs. And we change the bulbs before where the manufacturer's recommendation .

This more than insures that you have a high performing session every time you come to our salons.

The second device we use is called a UV meter.

This device measures what level of UV is being emitted from each tanning bed. This way, we double-check to be sure the tanning beds are exceeding the industry and manufactures recommended UV emissions.
